This duplex apartment, recently renovated, is located in one of many charming alleys of Alfama. Though close to the best restaurants, cafés and Fado Houses, it's not disturbed by their noise or by traffic, since the street has no car access. The Bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor of the apartment, accessed by a small stair whose walls are decorated with traditional tiles and beautiful black & white pictures. From bedroom facing South you can appreciate the majesty of Tagus River, one of the larger and most beautiful in Europe. On the 1st floor of the apartment you have the living-room and the dinning- room. For your entertainment we also have Satellite TV, DVD and CD player, Portuguese music, books, films, board and card games. Our yellow kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a good meal after a long walk in the city or a strong breakfast to conquer the hills of Lisbon. And if you forgot your cocktail recipes book, don't worry... you have some on the wall!

The apartment it's in a 3rd floor without elevator, with narrow and steep stairs. We don't recommend it for children under 5 or for people with locomotion difficulties

It's very difficult to park near Lapa Alfama, only in the main street. Even when you can find a place the parking is paid. We strongly recommend that you don't bring a car.
